"Ludo" is a Latin word meaning "to play a game."
What is the Ludo Club?
The Ludo Club is a social game club in Maryland. We play games face-to-face with real people! Card games, board games, classic games, and international games. Our inviting, comfortable atmosphere is a natural place to meet new people and make new friends. Playing games also bridges the generation gap and brings together adults of all ages. You don't have to be a expert to come to one of our game clubs, we're just here to have fun. And if you don't know how to play one of our staff members is always available to patiently teach a new game. Essentially, it's a place to relax and have fun over a game with friends new and old. Whether you've been itching to play games and need a place to do it, or want something different and fun to do, and make friends at the same time; The Ludo Club does it all. What can I do at the Ludo Club?
Game Clubs
in Maryland
The Ludo Club offers a variety of customizable game clubs for both beginning and skilled players. These clubs feature a particular game or group of games, run once a week and average about
$7 per session. They all include instruction. Our current lineup of games offered range from classics like Scrabble and Mah Jongg, card games like Euchre and Spades, to
themed games like Settlers of Catan and rail games. If you're looking for a game
club in Maryland, you've found the right place!
An interesting dynamic to our game clubs is that they are all "forming clubs." This means each club has a pre-determined minimum number of players and once that amount of players has registered for the club, it has "formed" and a start date will be set. This system assures there are enough players for a well-rounded club.
All clubs are held at the Ludo Club in our inviting coffee-house type decor. A snack bar is available.
If there is a club that catches your eye, don't hesitate to sign-up! The sooner the minimum number of players has registered, the sooner the playing can begin! Also, if there is a game you'd like to play but don't see a club for it, you can initiate a club, just call 410-536-GAME for more details.
